Classic Remise Berlin

The Classic Remise Berlin, a center for vintage cars in Moabit, opened in 2003 in a historic tram depot originally built in imperial times back in 1899. Some architectural changes to the building were made in the 1920s. There were limited damages in the war, yet marks from the firebombs can still be seen on the ceiling

Nowadays, Classic Remise is home to garages, oldtimer dealers and a vast, outstanding collection of classic cars. One of the best parts is the central hall with more than 80 special cases made of glass, including climate-control that preserves notable cars in perfect condition, such as Mercedes Benz 300SL, BMW M1, Ferrari 308 Quattrovolve, Lamborghini Countach and Lotus Esprit.

The experience visiting the place is unique, as you can find workshops specializing in restoration for all types of cars, like German, British, French, Sweden and also American cars. These workshops are sprawled over a large area of open space, so you can appreciate, smell, feel and also hear the motors roar.

Classic remise showcases remarkable examples of the oldtimer´s history, which you can see from up close, admire and take photos of. The place most of the time are quiet, you can walk and stay all the time necessary to admire. No matter if you a resident or a visitor of Berlin, this is an amazing paradise and a perfect escape for Carphiles.

The Classic Remise is open every day Mon-Sat from 8h – 20h and on Sundays from 10h to 20h. Wiebestr. 36-37, 10553 Berlin.
